El VERBO WILL
El verbo WILL es un verbo modal, es decir, siempre debe modificar un verbo. Este verbo proyecta al verbo que modifica al futuro.
Por ejemplo, el verbo TO BE (ser o estar), por sí solo no puede proyectarse al futuro por sí mismo, es decir, no hay un equivalente en inglés para SERÉ o ESTARÉ.
Para lograr que el verbo TO BE se proyecte al futuro podemos usar el verbo WILL.
La estructura para usar el verbo WILL es la siguiente:
SUJETO + WILL + (NOT) + BASE + COMPLEMENTO
En este tema utilizaremos WILL para manifestar una intensión futura para hacer ofrecimientos, como se ve en los ejemplos de la siguiente tabla:

Ejemplos:
AG.3.5.2a) I will pick you up at 5 PM.
Te recogeré a las 5 PM.
b) I will not help you carry your bags.
No te ayudaré a recoger tus bolsas.
c) The blender was damaged. I'll buy another one.
Se dañó la licuadora. Compraré otra.
Podemos contraer los pronombres personales con will de la siguiente manera:
I will = I´ll
You will = You´ll
He will = He´ll
She will = She´ll
It will = It´ll
We will = We´ll
You will = You´ll
They will = They´ll
Podemos además contraer el WILL + NOT como WON´T, de modo que las oraciones de la tabla quedan así:
She'll teach me how to play the piano.
We'll visit the museum tomorrow.
They'll not fix the broken window/They won't fix the broken window.
