A Trip to the Market
Last Saturday, students from my class went to the market to buy groceries. My dad, who is always very organized, made a list of what we needed. We had to buy a lot of milk, oil, and flour for the week. My father also asked for some honey and wine, which we use for special dinners. I noticed there were many grapes and strawberries at the market. We bought a few bunches, but we couldn’t buy many peaches because they were expensive. How much wine should we buy? My dad asked, and I replied, “I think a lot of tangerines would be great for a salad.” I checked the prices on my computer, and I was surprised to see that the peaches were much cheaper than I thought. After we finished, she's the one who always cares about our shopping, so we thanked her for organizing the trip so efficiently.
